Yamada EV400 Electric Violin: Yamada electric violins solve the problems associated with amplifying acoustic violins. The skeletised solid body has an under-the-bridge piezo pick-up. Volume and tone controls lead to 1/4'' jack outlet to go to an amp or P.A., or to a headphone amp for silent practice.
Headphones can be plugged directly into the onboard pre-amp, so you can play without anyone else hearing you. Then, when you're ready, you can plug it directly into a recording set-up, or an amplifier (not included) and play as loud as you want! These violins look and sound really vibrant!
