At Speed Music, we offer comprehensive repair and servicing on all guitars, amplifiers, effect pedals, flutes, clarinets & saxophones. Our technicians will evaluate your instrument/amplifier's faults and provide you with a quote, outlining expected time-scales and costs.
A deposit will be required, which will form part of the payment balance, should you accept the repair charge.
Guitar set-up & servicing @ Speed Music
We also offer a guitar setup & maintenance service, for electric or acoustic guitars and bass guitars. The basic service deals with truss-rods, intonation, re-strings, action, tremolo systems & minor fret problems - getting the best possible playability from your guitar.
Rates:
The basic guitar/bass set up fee is £30 excluding strings. For all other items, please allow a few days for us to provide a quote. Once a quote has been accepted, we aim to return your repaired item within 7-14 days. This may take longer where specialist parts need to be ordered. In these circumstances, we will advise you of the suppliers’ lead times. Please contact us for more details.
